Channels are allocated in groups or on a bed by bed basis and can be centrally controlled by nursing staff on each ward. The comprehensive management
software enables staff to allocate packaged television programs and selected pay channels without the need of individual bedside consultation. Infrared control
is also available on all screens which means displays can be mounting in public areas such as waiting rooms and canteens. This channel selection is then made
using an infrared remote from behind the reception desk.
